Angharad is from Birmingham and is passionate about the city’s history and heritage. She has an undergraduate degree in Literature and History from the University of East Anglia, followed by a Masters Degree in Heritage Management from the Ironbridge Institute (University of Birmingham). Angharad has worked for over a decade in the heritage and public sector, largely within the West Midland’s region. She has specialised in project management with experience of large-scale projects.

It speaks of a time where Birmingham’s new identity as a civic and industrial powerhouse was being formed. The Hall itself is a beautiful and at times imposing example of neo-Gothic architecture. “
In lockdown, like many others, walks became very important to me and my family. Walking to Highbury Hall and around the Gardens were always a highlight. My favourite place is just outside the house, looking across the lawn, as it’s where the beautiful surroundings provided a haven from everything else was happening.
