Kate Organ

Kate is a graduate of Birmingham University with a degree in French and Drama and has worked in the cultural and charitable sectors all her career. From working as a freelance practitioner and consultant for many arts and charitable organisations across the UK, including a decade in the Arts Council and another as Arts Adviser to the Baring Foundation. She has served on several boards including serving as chair of Black Country Touring, Pentabus Theatre and the Birmingham-based Feeney Trust. In 2012 she became a Churchill Fellow, researching the role of the Arts in Japan particularly in the context of an ageing society and regeneration. She has been a regular visiting lecturer at Warwick University and served as the arts specialist on the Churchill Fellowship Trust Advisory Council.
