Lucy Bailey-Wright

Activities Planner

Lucy Bailey‑Wright is a heritage and arts professional based in Kings Heath, Birmingham, with a passion for making history meaningful and accessible. As Activities Planner at the Chamberlain Highbury Trust, they lead public programmes, Eduction and Leadership training, tours, creative events, and community activity at Highbury Hall, with a focus on engaging families and young people.

Trained as a theatre maker and education specialist, Lucy has extensive experience working with children and young people — especially those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). They bring this inclusive, creative approach into everything they do at Highbury, helping shape events and learning experiences that invite people of all ages and abilities to explore heritage in fun and meaningful ways.

Alongside their work at the Trust, Lucy is active locally: serving on the Birmingham Heritage Strategy Group, Birmingham Migration Group, director of Highbury Orchard Community and Growing Up Green as a parent activist and advocate for environmental causes and equality.
