At Highbury, history comes alive, offering you exciting opportunities to discover, grow, and connect through engaging workshops, interactive sessions, and inspiring tours.
Learning
Education
Highbury Hall & Park offers tailored educational visits for Key Stages 1–4, linking history, art and social change. Younger pupils explore nature through play, while older students engage with local history, empire and industrial Birmingham. Internships, work experience and research opportunities make Highbury a place for learning at every stage.
Leadership
Our leadership programme inspires participants to lead with purpose, confidence and care. Using lessons from the past, it builds the courage to make bold decisions and know when to pause and reflect. Participants develop their leadership voice, adaptability and communication skills to respond decisively and thoughtfully to real-world challenges.
Resources
Downloadable resources are available to support your visit to Highbury Hall & Park and enhance learning. These include lesson plans, activity ideas and background information linked to the National Curriculum. They can be used before or after your visit to help students stay engaged and deepen understanding.
Youth Board
The Chamberlain Highbury Trust Youth Board programme empowers 16–25-year-olds to build leadership skills and shape the future of Highbury. Through six hands-on sessions, participants explore decision-making, sustainability, storytelling and impact, ensuring young people’s voices influence CHT’s work and legacy.
