The Protocol Group that coordinates the management of Highbury Park is seeking a consultant to manage the process and produce a Landscape Management and Maintenance Plan for Highbury Park.
Contract Opportunity
The Highbury Park Protocol Group is inviting proposals from experienced landscape, heritage and environmental consultants to lead the production of a new Landscape Management and Maintenance Plan for Highbury Park.
This important commission will help shape the future care, conservation and enhancement of one of Birmingham’s most treasured historic parks. Working closely with members of the Protocol Group, the successful consultant will facilitate a collaborative process to develop a practical, costed 10-year plan covering the park’s diverse landscapes, habitats, heritage features and community-managed areas.
Highbury Park is a Grade II listed historic park and a vital green space welcoming more than 500,000 visitors each year. The new plan will support the long-term management of its rich mix of woodland, meadows, wildlife habitats and historic landscapes.
The commission has a budget of up to £10,000 and is expected to run from September 2026 to March 2027.
The deadline for applications is Friday 17 July 2026.
